Oxbow take on LQS Surf Competition in Tapia, Spain - April 2010
Oxbow were well represented at the LQS Surf Comp in Spain this month, with UK riders Ben Skinner finishing 2nd and Sam Bleakley in 5th. Antoine Delpero of France claimed the title, and Emma Neuschwanger from Reunion came in 3rd. Read all about the competition and results on ASPEUROPE

OXBOW surfer takes the lead - and he's not even 18!

Kai Lenny, the young waterman of the OXBOW team, won the first round of the Stand Up World Tour, on the iconic surf spot of Sunset Beach (North Shore of Hawaii).

Kai, 17 years old, dominated the contest from beginning to end, holding the lead against the world’s best watermen and several legends like Robby Naish - no one could stop him!

In solid conditions, Kai showed everyone his maturity in surfing and in his approach to competition. His talent, humble nature and concentration allowed him to take the head of the ratings and crowned him as the Sunset Beach Pro Champion for 2010!!

Kai Lenny will definitely be the man to beat during the second round in May so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for news of this young rider from Maui, who is bound to ensure the future of Stand Up. Congratulations Kai!

Round 2 will take place in France in May 2010.
